PSS Services
What We Do |
At PSS we work with our partners to provide innovative ways to care for and support members of the community live happier and more fulfilling lives. In the past year we have helped over 30,000 people with varying levels of disability or mental illness in 174 projects throughout England, Scotland and Wales.
PSS has always questioned the fundamental premise that care should be institutionalised, and because we work with so many service user groups, when a method of working proves effective we are able to transfer it for the benefit of others. By using this method we are able to improve the quality of life for lots of people.
PSS currently manages three major services that provide personal and practical care to thousands of people across the UK. These services include:
Children and Families
PSS works with children and their families to assist them in raising healthy and happy children, and to improve the lives of those children who are less fortunate than others. Ensuring children develop in to well rounded adults is one of our top priorities so we ensure that we give children all the support that they require to give them a purpose in their life.
Adult Placement
PSS Adult Placement helps adults in need of care live as part of a family. It’s not just for the elderly, but for those with mental health needs, physical impairments or learning difficulties. We offer a practical solution for a wide rang of social needs.
Communities
Helping people with specific needs to live their own lives in the community PSS Home and Community support Services are for people of all ages, from older people with dementia to adolescents faced with the stresses of approaching adulthood – as well as people with mental health problems, physical disabilities or learning difficulties. |
