When people need help, PSS is here to support them. We are a dynamic charity, delivering locally, but with methods, initiatives and new ideas acclaimed and taken up around the world.

Groundbreaking innovations have included Age Concern, Citizens Advice Bureau and forerunners of Legal Aid and Relate. Today, PSS manages five major sector services, providing personal and practical help to thousands of people across Merseyside, the Northwest, Scotland and North Wales.

PSS continues to support people in need all across the UK, but to continue to provide this care we need your help.There are lots of ways that you can donate money to the charity detailed below.

Banker's Order

A great way to support PSS on a regular basis is by setting up a banker’s order, which is an instruction set up with your bank to pay PSS a set amount from your account on a regular basis.

Home Money Box

Request a Home Money Box today and start collecting your loose change for a great cause.

If you agree to have a PSS collection box in your home we will write to you twice a year to tell you where you can send your money. It's just another great way to raise money for PSS.

Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving is a scheme that allows you to make donations to PSS direct from your gross salary (before tax is deducted). For example, a basic rate taxpayer wanting to make a £10 donation will only cost £7.80 or just £6 for higher rate taxpayers.

Payments can be taken directly from your salary either as a regular monthly payment or as a one-off gift, all you have to do is decide how much money you would like to give and inform your payroll department, and they will do the rest.

Friends of PSS

Friends of PSS are people who choose to make a donation of £10 or more each year.

As a Friend of PSS you will receive a quarterly newsletter that provides information and news about our work. Friends are invited to particular events and have the opportunity to become more closely involved with our work. Friends have the opportunity to provide feedback on the services we provide, and our future developments.

It's simple:

1. Phone PSS to let us know you'd like to help
2. We will send/deliver a collection box for your office or home
3. Call us when you need a collection (10-15 cartridges/phones)
4. We will keep you updated of how your support has helped with our work
