In-house training is provided free of charge to PSS staff, carers, students and volunteers. 

Training will be agreed between you and your line manager or supervisor. Some training will be mandatory, ie you must attend it in order to carry out your role.

If you are a volunteer your training must be relevant to the voluntary work you do for PSS. You will receive expenses when you attend training - bus or train fare or car mileage (limits apply).

You will receive a certificate for each course you attend.

Staff may receive the opportunity to undertake qualifications to enable them to carry out their roles more effectively, eg NVQs.
